With unprecedented changes in the last year and half, we found out how resilient we are! We found the silver linings in our lives and some have become new favorites like using new bread recipes, actually eating the tomatoes you grew in the garden, and having time for reflection! A special thing grew in using ZOOM for those who couldn’t otherwise come to church.
How did we get to this place? We each have learned to live through difficult times and not give up, which we call having PERSEVERANCE. This was the name given to the 2021 NASA Mars Rover, so named by a 7th grader who said in her essay, “We are species of explorers, and we will meet setbacks on the way to Mars. However, we can persevere. We, not as a nation, but as humans, who will not give up.”
How will we bring the spirit of endurance to the 2021 Auction? Together, with INGENUITY. Ingenuity was the helicopter that NASA flew from millions of miles away. The once impossible became real.
Our 2021 Auction wants to honor the courageous effort by all who helped others endure with their generosity, kindness, and support. Our spirit of endurance can be shared with those who face injustice and struggles. The funds we create could be that difference that will encourage someone to endure and succeed in the recovery of their dreams.

Friday July 30th The 2021 Auction Zoom/Live from the sanctuary 7 - 8:30 pm
Saturday July 31st Celebration Party appetizers, drinks, raffle 5:30 - 7:30 pm
