In case you have been thinking of what you might offer for the Silent Auction, hand-made items always are a big hit, as are items for the home and garden

Here are some other ideas of things that might fit your skill set:

  • Vacations: use of vacation house, hotel certificates, restaurant certificates, round of golf, day at the spa, etc.

  • Themed Baskets (e.g. movies, reading, gardening, pets, international foods, etc.)

  • Baked Goods: special cakes, cookies, pie of the month, fresh bread, jam, etc.

  • Foods of the Month: soup, casserole, pie, etc.

  • Event Tickets: sporting, music, theater, lecture, etc.

  • Easel Parties: English tea, wine tasting, desert party, “let’s go to the …. (movie, symphony, art show, zoo)”, etc.

  • Services: various lessons, babysitting, handyman-husband for hire, etc.
